August 7-11, 2017

We are off to a busy start of third grade! This week, the students will be MAP testing on Monday (Reading), Tuesday (Math), and Wednesday (ELA). This data will be used as a baseline for growth over the course of the year and will be rechecked in December and April. If you have any questions concerning MAP, please email me.

Last week, the students completed a narrative writing pre-assessment. They will be completing an opinion and informational pre-assessment piece of writing this week and beginning of next week. I look forward to seeing writing growth over the school year.
